My name is Matthew Carroll, I’m an avid outdoorsman and some what of a “prepper”. I work in the construction industry mainly the demolition side of things. On Tuesday October 15 of 2019 I was on a job site just as another other work day me and my partner were removing a leveling plate from a loading dock, in the process of removing the steel structure of the leveler I lost my footing and fell approximately 3 foot from the loading dock, landed on my feet but somehow during my fall I obtained a severe laceration to my right forearm. Luckily I had one of the cat t tourniquets strapped to my edc bag that I carry for work. My partner who has never had to apply a Tq was able to locate, place, and apply my tq to my upper arm stopping blood flow to the injury before contacting emergency services. While in route to the local hospital via ambulance paramedics informed me that if not had been for the tq I probably wouldn’t of been having that conversation. Once at the hospital I received 22 stitches to close my wound up and was informed that the laceration grazed the facia of my main artery traveling down the length of my arm. I owe my life to North America Rescue products due to the superior ease of use and the effectiveness they have in doing what they are designed to do. Thank you for supplying a product that not only meets and exceeds expectations but something that ANYONE can use in an emergency situation.

I am writing you today to thank you for creating a lifesaving product. The CAT tourniquet helped me save my son's life on June 22nd of this year and I couldn't be more grateful! My 12 year old son was riding his ATV when he had an accident that resulted in him suffering from bilateral compound femur fractures. I heard him screaming and came running to him not knowing what I was going to find. I found him laying on the ground with both legs broken and bleeding. My training as an EMT and paramedic student kicked in as I told my husband to go get my tourniquets. I was able to apply both tourniquets with shaking hands and tears welling up in my eyes before anyone else came to his rescue. He was flown to the local trauma hospital, flight time 20 min, where an arterial bleed was confirmed. He recieved 2 units of blood during his first emergency surgery but his life was saved. YOUR PRODUCT HELPED ME SAVE HIS LIFE! How could I ever thank you enough???
